Wampus, broken pieces of the quahog shell that get tossed by the sea until smooth and colorful, are typically displayed to show off the hues and designs of purple on the inner shell.
Here the striking outside of the Wampum is highlighted, contrasted with a Scallop shell and displayed in an 8X8 silver shadowbox frame.
This piece can be mounted on the wall or set upright on a vanity shelf displaying various jars and hand towels.
